Peyton Rae

I have been busy doing so many updates on the baby and everything I didn't realize how long it has been since I have updated about Peyton. Our little/big girl is becoming quite the little gymnastics person. This week she decided to started doing flips over and over on the swing. She has done them by herself before but I have always been standing right beside her, this time I was sitting down watching her and she just leaned back and flipped over. Once she did it the first she got this look on her face like wow I really can do it, then she just started doing it over and over again! I was so proud of her. Next class I will try to get a video of her flipping! She has started to say such funny things to me like "Mommy if you don't share with me I'll tell daddy and he will spank you", or in the car "Slow down I don't want to go to jail" (which I really wasn't speeding). She has also started with the little girl attitude and talking back. Sometimes I just have to laugh insted of getting her in trouble because she is just so sassy! Last night as we were sitting on the couch she reached up and hugged my neck and said "Mommy I love you so much,  I am so proud of you". That little girl can just melt my heart. She is so sweet and kind. This weekend at the garage sale she just couldn't understand why I would get rid of some of her toys. LOL. I decided to tell her if she let me sale somethings and was a big girl about it that she would get a prize. She decided she wanted shoes just like Charli's.
So these are the ones that she picked out! She tells me that she can run very fast in them and has to wear them constantly. As soon as she wakes up she wants to know where they are!
Peyton at Bowen's Party-- I am so excited that her hair is finally getting long enough now to be put into a full pony tail and doesn't fall down as much! Also makes me sad how old she looks when her hair is up too! I have had several people tell me that they didn't even recognize her with her hair up because she just looks so old!
Putting on her makeup at the party. This girl is obsessed with lip chap or lip gloss. Every store we go into she finds one somehow to buy, and if she ever finds on at your house or in your purse you might as well forget about it and buy a new one because she isn't giving it back!

32 Weeks

32 weeks with only 56 days to go!! The bump--At 32 weeks, baby’s birth still seems kind of far away, but you and baby are physically ready in a lot of ways, just in case there’s an early arrival. Baby may have turned so she’s in the head-down position by now, in our case baby girl has just stayed the same because she has always been head down! This week she now the size of a squash and getting more and more cramped in there. I can tell she is running out of room to move because she is starting to push more. This week I finished all the big painting in her room & got her dresser moved back in from storage. I am so excited to put her new bedding up but decided to wait on Trey to come home to help with the crib. Thought he might like to be a part of the room as well! All we have left to do in her room is put the crib up, wash & put bedding in, hang decorations, paint name (when we finally decide) and then paint the scrolls on the wall! Starting not to stress as much! :) We go back for another doctors appointment on Thursday!
A sneak preview of what her nursery will look like.
32 Weeks!

Today Trey finally gets to come home after being away for what seems like eternity! I have lots of respect and sympathy for those whose spouses are military because it's hard with them being away and they are gone a lot longer than just 3 weeks. Guess I shouldn't complain, it could of been a lot longer! We are looking forward to seeing him!

31 Weeks!

Hello 31 weeks!! The bump.com says our baby girl is now the size of a pineapple. Measuring anywhere from 15 to 16.7 inches long and weighs about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds. Guess our little girl is gonna be quite the chunkier because last week she was at 3.6, so at the top of the weight range. All five of her senses are now developed, she can turn her head from side to side, and her arms & legs are starting to fill out. I have been having lots and lots of trouble sleeping, I just can't seem to get comfortable. This week I started painting in her nursery and have it just about done, the paint that is. Her bedding came in this week also and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for Trey to get to come home so that we can set up the crib and everything. So far, the white is all painted, the black trim and the curtains have been ironed and hung up. Don't freak out when I say black in her room.. lol, it's not too much! On Monday I am going to get the pink mixed to match her bedding and then her room should be done. I'll post some pictures soon of her room!

This is at 31 weeks!

Peyton has really gotten pretty clingy to me, I think she knows that changes are coming but she is still very excited about her baby sissy. She likes to try to give her things through my stomach, talk and sing to her, kiss her and read to her. Its too cute to watch her even though she really doesn't understand where the baby is. LOL. When someone ask her where her baby sissy is she always says that she is at home with her mommy.

This weekend is pack full of things for us to do to keep busy. Tomorrow we are having a big garage sale at our house. I think I am starting to reach that nesting stage where I want all the clutter gone and everything organized! Those who know my husband, he is a clean freak so he will be thrilled that his pack rat wife is throwing things away!! Sunday is a big day for us as well because our "little man"/newphew is turning one!! I can't believe that he is already that big, seems like time is passing by too fast! It's fun to see them getting indepedent and learning all the new things but just doesn't seem far that he should be one! Right around the corner and the girls will be 3!! Oh goodness!

We are looking forward to Wednesday not only because then will I be 32 weeks but Trey also is getting to come home after being gone for 3 weeks! We can not wait to see him. Peyton already has big plans for us that include the zoo, park, snow cones, baseball & swimming. Glad that summer time is finally here so we can spend time at the lake & outside!

30 Weeks.. Only 10 to go!

Today we had our last sonogram and although I was very excited to see our baby girl I was sad that Trey had to miss it! With his big promotion he is gonna have to stay at work another 2 weeks. I am so glad that we now have amazing technology where we can send pictures, so at least he was able to see her as well! Peyton was very very excited to see baby sissy as she calls her on the computer today as well. She kept saying "Look mommy its baby sissy!". The baby was very cooperative today and we were able to get a clear look at her face, she kept looking at us and blinking. Looks like she is gonna have those big Walton eyes! :) To me she looked a lot like Peyton did on the sonogram so I can hardly wait 10 more weeks to see what she actually looks like. For sure got a good view that she is indeed a girl, which I was thrilled to death because I finally ordered her bedding yesterday! The nurse said that she is very very low and still head down so with some of the pressure I have been feeling I might need to have my doctor check tomorrow on her. Nothing to worry about though! I am ready to meet her but just not quite yet! I have a few pictures from the sonogram, they are just pictures of pictures so not the best ones!
For sure a GIRL! :)
Her very large & flat foot! Got this from both Trey & I!
Her side profile view. Her hand is up by her mouth!

I decided not to post any pictures of her looking right at us because although I think they are too cute, they are sort of scary looking. Lol. Just looks like a little skeleton!
This is her bedding that we decided to go with. Should be here sometime this week! Looking forward to getting started on her nursery!

A Little Behind!

Sorry I am a little behind on this week's updates but we have had a lot going on! We are at week 29 and only have 74 more days to go! Sounds like so many whenever I hear that but I know that it will just fly by. According to the bump.com our baby girl is the size of an acorn squash whatever that may be! lol. They come up with some strange things to compare your baby too! She is about 16 inches long and weighs about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds! Says I need to go ahead and start getting things prepared, bags, nursery and all but since we still have yet to get any bedding.. I'll probably be putting that off! :) This week I have started to have contractions a little but nothing to worry about, they are just every once and a while! I am looking forward to Wednesday to see her on sonogram for the last time before she makes her big apperance! I can't wait to see what she is going to look like!
Peyton is still doing great and just growing like a weed! She got an early birthday present so that she could have plenty of time to play with it, we ordered her a new swing set for the back yard. She was so excited and spends nearly all day out on her swing! :) Now that we have told her it was for her birthday though, she has been very excited to have a party! She always asks for things and says she wants them at her party, little does she know it's still months away!
Also this week was a huge week for our family because Trey got a huge promotion at work! This is something he has worked very hard for and waited for. Glad that he finally got what he deserved! I am so proud of him!! Although this may mean that he will be spending a whole month straight at work and will be changing his schedule, also meaning he won't be home when our due date comes around! Let's hope our baby girl decides to come and meet us when her daddy is home!
Today Sheri & I signed up to run a 5K in Stamford, the Run for Reel. I was a little nervous about it, I have been running the whole time but haven't competed in a race since I got pregnant. Despite that I did fairly good, better than I had thought! Finished in a pretty decent time for being 7 months almost 8 months along and won 2nd place in my age group! I was thrilled! Had a couple of contractions a long the way but stuck it out, glad I did! :)
